We’ve got quality covered

All our architectural products meet both the global AAMA standards and Australian AS3715 standard.

AAMA Global Standards

American Architectural Manufacturers Association (AAMA) set out standards for globally recognised specification, performance requirement and test procedure standards for organic coatings on aluminium extrusions and panels.

The standards assist architects, owners, and contractors to specify coatings that will provide and maintain a minimum level of performance.

The 3 AAMA standards are:

AAMA 2605 – Voluntary Specification, Performance Requirements and Test Procedures for Superior Performing Organic Coatings on Aluminium Extrusions and Panels

AAMA 2604– Voluntary Specification, Performance Requirements and Test Procedures for High-Performance Organic Coatings on Aluminium Extrusions and Panels

AAMA 2603– Voluntary Specification, Performance Requirements and Test Procedures for Pigmented Organic Coatings on Aluminium Extrusions and Panels

Our architectural product range has been designed to ensure we have a product for each AAMA standard and therefore a product for every project quality level.

AAMA 2605– Interpon D3020 Fluoromax

AAMA 2604– Interpon D2015 Ultriva

AAMA 2603– Interpon D1000 Domestic Residential

AS3715 – Australian Metal Finishing Standard

AS3715 is the Australian standard for Metal Finishing – Thermoset powder coating for architectural applications of aluminium and aluminium alloys. It sets out the Australian standards required for pre-treatment, application, and performance of powder coatings on aluminium substrates.

All Interpon powder coatings meet the performance requirements set out in AS3715 and all our Approved Applicators are guaranteed to meet the pre-treatment and application standards.
